Tibidabo Funfair
Tibidabo Funfair is a popular favourite at the top of Tibidabo Hill on the Collserola Ridge behind the town. Popular rides and attractions for all the family. Smashing views over Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea, especially in winter. The funfair is close to the Torre de Collserola with its panoramic view platform. Barcelona Zoo
Barcelona Zoo is great place to spend the day, especially if you have kids. One of the most popular things to do in Barcelona. Sadly, "Snowflake", the albino gorilla –once the Zoo's chief icon and attraction– is no longer with us, but the Zoo is a modern, exciting and interesting place. A major centre for conserving and breeding endangered species, Barcelona Zoo collaborates with leading conservationists and front-line projects. Barcelona Aquarium
Barcelona Aquarium is a fairly recent addition to things to do in Barcelona and one that has quickly become a classic that must be seen. Over 8000 fish, including 11 sharks. You can even dive with them if you have a licence! Find out everything about Barcelona Aquarium here

Montjuïc
Montjuïc is pleasant place for viewing the city. The trip up is a pleasure too, either by cable car from the Torre de Sant Sebastià, Barceloneta, –if you can get on– or from town, using Metro and Funicular.
There are pleasant gardens, several museums, the Magic Fountain Montjuic, a wonderfully moving fountain, light and sound spectacle originally designed for the 1929 Exhibition and going even stronger today… Pueblo Espanyol a "village" built using traditional regional styles of architecture from all over Spain.

Boqueria Market is a colourful, exciting place to spend an hour or so. If you love food, you'll love Boqueria Market! See an amazing selection of seafood on beds of ice: live lobsters, spider crabs, shell fish of all kinds. Giant tuna, angler fish, eels…
A riot of colourful fruit awaits you at the entrance, you can buy a ready-to-eat fruit salad complete with spoon for a few coins from one of the stalls.

Barcelona Christmas Fair
Barcelona Christmas Fair or the Fira de Santa Llucia is very popular among families and is a great place for feeling that Christmas is just around the corner. Traditional and modern Christmas decorations abound, among them the esteemed "Caganer". Not to be missed if you're in Barcelona between the 2rd and 23rd of December.
