Taxi Barcelona Airport - Barcelona City

It generally takes about half an hour to get to Barcelona city centre from Barcelona airport whether using bus, taxi, train or private transfer. The journey can take longer due to queueing, congestion and the terminal you leave from. Terminal T1 can take 10 minutes more then T2.

A good, cost-effective choice for a family or if you’re travelling in a group of up to 4 people.

Available 24 hours a day. The taxi ranks in Terminal T1 are on level 0 at the arrivals area and outside the main exit doors at Terminals T2A, T2B and T2C.

Fares vary with the time of day and on holidays and there is a surcharge for luggage and one for the airport itself.

The minimum charge for travelling to or from the Airport is 20€ but it will be more than this if you’re going into Barcelona.

Don’t be daunted by the queues of people. Stewards generally organise both taxis and queues quite efficiently.

TAXI CHARGES
Two kinds of general rates apply:

T-1 (1.10 €/Km) throughout the Metropolitan area of the city between 20.00 and 08.00 on weekdays and between 00.00 and 24.00 on Saturdays and Sundays.

T-2 (0.86€/Km) throughout the Metropolitan area of the city between 08.00 and 20.00 on weekdays.

and

T-3 (0.59€/Km) at any time when outside the Metropolitan area.

You can take the following aboard your taxi with no charge:
- Suitcase or package smaller than 55 x 35 x 35 cm
- Guide dog.
- Wheelchair
- Baby’s pushchair


Total surcharges cannot exceed 13.30 €
- Departure or arrival at airport: 3.10 €.

- Suitcase over 55 x 35 x 35: 1.00 €

- Suitcase over 55 x 35 x 35: 1.00 €

- Entry into Barcelona Trade Fair - Gran Vía Montjuïc 2
(L'Hospitalet de Llobregat): 2.10 €

- Departure or arrival at harbour or station: 2.10 €

- Fridays, Saturdays. Sundays and holidays, from 00h. to 06.00 h: 2.00 €

- “Special nights” (23/6, 24/6, 24/12, 25/12, 31/12 1/1 between 20.00 and 08.00) 3.10 €.

- Pets are carried at the driver’s discretion and a surcharge of 1€ will be made.
