Ryanair Barcelona
Ryanair boarding passes
Do not forget to print your Ryanair boarding passRyanair has said it will continue to charge passengers €40 for boarding passes at airports despite a judge declaring it illegal. Ryanair said passengers who do not print their boarding passes online, will have to pay the fee at the airport or they will not be able to fly.Barcelona Judge Barbara Cordoba has ruled that, under international air travel conventions, it is illegal for Ryanair demand passengers bring their boarding pass to the airport or charge them 40 euros for printing one. Ryanair is appealing the decision. Ryanair say the charge is to “remind” people to turn up with all requisite documents and dissuade them from not printing the card, not a printing charge. Passengers can, Ryanair say, always find an "alternative solution". There is no alternative solution at T2B. To avoid expense and trouble, you should bring your boarding card already printed. Your hotel should be able to help you with this if you have not already done it at home. If you’re at an apartment or other accommodation with no printing service you’ll find plenty of Internet cafés or phone services “locutorios” in Barcelona.
