Originally built in 1859, it was renovated in the modernist style by Lluis Domènech i Muntaner who some consider to be Barcelona’s finest architect.

Almost at the top of the Ramblas, this new hotel is in the old Philippine Tobacco Company headquarters.

This hotel is located across the road from Gaudí’s Palau Güell and the rooms on the upper floors and the terrace give views of the building and its unique roofscape of fantastic chimneys.
